Today we continue our teaching series on building strong families.  When it comes to understanding our uniqueness in Christ, our basic personality is key in how we relate to God and live in authentic community.  Another important aspect of that understanding has to do with our family of origin.  Family systems, while quite complex, have so much to do with how we learn to live and relate to others in our world.  In the story of a young man named Joseph, the Book of Genesis reveals how God worked through a traumatic family system to accomplish His purposes in Joseph and, through him, to impact the lives of many others.
